Government Regulation No. 37 of 2012 states that watershed management is a human effort to regulate the reciprocal relationship between natural resources and humans in the watershed and all its activities, in order to achieve sustainability and harmony of the ecosystem as well as increasing the benefits of natural resources for humans in a sustainable manner. Management of the Krueng Jreue Sub Watershed is important for efforts to maintain sustainability because the Krueng Jreue Sub Watershed is included in the upstream area which functions as a water absorption area which is important to maintain and manage, so that the utilization of the surrounding potential does not exceed its carrying capacity. The participation of communities living around the watershed area is important in efforts to preserve the function of the Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed. The aim of this research is to analyze community participation in the management of the Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed, Krueng Aceh Watershed, Aceh Besar Regency. This research was conducted in Gampong Sihom Lhok, Sihom Cot, Krueng Lamkareung, and Sinyeu, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency. This research method uses descriptive. The research results showed that community participation in planting trees in the management of the Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed was highest in Gampong Sihom Lhok, namely 28.7%, then community participation in the form of guarding the riverbank was highest in Gampong Sinyeu, namely 35.5%, and community participation in not throwing away The highest level of waste into the river is in Gampong Krueng Lam Kareung, namely 39.4%.

Keywords: Participation, Public, Management, Krueng Jreue Sub-watershed.
Sri MaulanaHildanus HildanusKiki Riskhi Ananda

Forests are natural ecosystems that consist of large areas of land that contain many biological resources. Forest fires have several factors, namely due to human activity, high air temperatures. In this study, the cause of forest fires on Mount Sumbing is due to very hot air temperatures, the temperature this year is hotter than the average, this is due to the phenomenon of hot air trapped in the area due to anomalous atmospheric dynamics. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential for summer to cause forest fires on Sumbing Mountain. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis based on the results of drought index management related to the distribution of hot spots in 2023. The results of the research studied by the researcher are the fires that occurred in the Mount Sumbing forest on Friday, 1 which resulted from hot weather. So the potential for forest fires that occur on Mount Sumbing during hot weather has a very large potential and causes serious forest fires, therefore the guards on Mount Sumbing are dexterous if unwanted things happen such as evacuating residents and climbers

Christina Aprilieni PurbaIrma ArtantiRina Rahayu

Agroforestry is a land use system that combines agricultural crops with forestry plants which are generally carried out in order to obtain maximum income. This study aims to determine the level of income of agroforestry farmers, how much farmer income contributes and to determine the factors that affect agroforestry farmers’ income. This study used an interview method with 41 agroforestry farmers and was conducted in December-April 2020 in Karangsari Village, Kuningan Regency. Karangsari village has 38 types of plants that are used to generate economic value for farmers’ income, the income that farmers get from agroforestry is Rp. 2,071,796,500 and farmers’ income from non-agroforestry products amounting to Rp. 2,481,600,000 so that it can be seen that the contribution of management with an agroforestry system to farmers’ income is 46%, while the contribution of non-agroforestry is 54%. Factors that can affect farmers’ income are land area factors. This is because the larger the land area, the more various types of plants and the more yields you get.
Mega Nurkumala DewiAi NurlailaIka Karyaningsih

This study aims to determine the community's perception of the mangrove Mundu Pesisir tourism , Cirebon Regency. The information is expected to contribute and add insight in the development of science related to public perceptions of tourism, as well as provide an overview of public perceptions of the Mangrove Mundu Pesisir Tourism of Cirebon Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and literature study, the method of determining respondents was determined by purposive sampling, the number of respondents was taken as much as 98 people, analyzed of community perception data was carried out using a Likert Scale formula after getting the results of the questionnaire distributed to each respondent who had determined, and to obtain conclusions the data were analyzed descriptive qualitative.
The purpose of writing this article is to provide an overview of the profile of the Luragunglandeuh Village and Cikeusal Village areas in the Watershed. Watershed management is one of the natural resources that is so complex and consists of several components that make it up. These components consist of vegetation resources (forests), soil and water (rivers and tributaries), and humans contained in the area as users of space and natural resources contained therein. Where the upstream watershed ecosystem has a very close relationship with the downstream watershed ecosystem. Natural resources are all wealth in the form of inanimate and living objects found on earth that can be utilized to meet human needs. The pressure on natural resources is very large along with human guidance to meet the needs of life. Humans are highly dependent on natural resources and the sustainability of natural resources is greatly influenced by human activities. Natural resources in Luragunglandeuh Village and Cikeusal Village are in the form of agricultural and plantation sectors. Das Cisanggarung in Luragung and Cikeusal has the potential to support life for the surrounding community such as the use of clean water for agricultural development, household life and the livelihood of the surrounding community.

Lilis Nur AlpiyahHikma Mudia FajriNurul HidayatiZillan ZalillaIsmail ZulfikarAnsar Abdi
