Pengaruh ROE, EPS Terhadap Harga Saham

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Return On Equity and Earning Per Share on Share Prices of Companies in the Big Trading Sub-Sector in 2015-2019. The variables used in this study are Return On Equity (X1) and Earning Per Share (X2) as the independent variable and Stock Price (Y) as the dependent variable. The type of research used is causal associative and the method used is quantitative method. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method with 50 observational data obtained from the research sample of 10 large trading sub-sector companies. The data used are financial statements, the source of the data comes from the website of each company and other related websites. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using the F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The data was tested using the help of IBM SPSS version 22. The results showed that Return On Equity and Earning Per Share simultaneously had an effect on stock prices in large trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The results of this study can be used as guidelines for company management and for investors in making investment decisions
