Manajemen Model Analisis Neraca Air di Wilayah Kabupaten Kuningan Bagian Timur

This study aims to analyze the water balance and determine the timing of the surplus and deficit of water, as well as determine the water potential in the Eastern District of Kabupaten Kuningan (in this case the District Ciawigebang and the District Cibeureum). Analysis of water is calculated using the Thornwhite and Mather method (1958). Through this method calculated how much supply and rain water deficit in the last ten years. Based on the calculations and the approach obtained water balance curve and soil water balance curve in the region studied. General water balance in the region of East Kuningan average in surplus water from December to April and the water deficit from May to November. Surplus peak occurred in February and March where the average rainfall reached 330 mm monthly. Deficit peak occurred in August and September where rainfall monthly average reached only 10 mm. Soil water balance calculations, the water deficit in the village Cibeureum occurred from May to November with a total deficit of 475.84 mm / year. Deficit peak occurred in September. Surplus water occurs from December to April with a total surplus of 711.94 mm / year. Total run-off is equal to 521.13 mm / year. While the Village Ciawi water deficit occurs from May to October with a total deficit of 425.27 mm / year. Surplus water occurs from November to April with a total surplus of 641.11 mm / year. The amount of run-off  amounted to 505.05.  Soil water balance can change over space and time is influenced by climate, soil type, cover / land use and topography.
