However, technology-induced work pressure, known as technostress, may negatively impact their strategic job performance if not managed effectively. This study aims to examine the effect of technostress on strategic job performance, with digital work engagement as a mediating variable. The research involved 94 civil servants from two local government agencies using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. The results revealed that technostress had a significant negative effect on strategic job performance, while digital work engagement showed a significant positive effect. Mediation testing using the Sobel test confirmed that digital work engagement significantly mediated the relationship between technostress and strategic job performance. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering digital work engagement as a strategy to mitigate the negative impact of technostress within civil service environments.
2025-12-29T15:06:42+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Evihttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/11466The Role of International Organizations in Managing Global Health Security: A Study of World Health Organization Activities in Africa2025-12-30T13:00:13+07:00Joseph Onovughe Siloko[email protected]Esekumuemu Victor Clark[email protected]Vincent Eseoghene Efebeh [email protected]
The study examines the role of international organizations, specifically the World Health Organization (WHO), in managing global health security in Africa. It evaluates WHO’s effectiveness, the impact of systemic inequality in resource allocation, and the consequences of delays in decision-making and operational inefficiencies. The research is anchored in regime theory, which explains how international organizations govern global health security through established norms and cooperative frameworks (Krasner, 1983). A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing data from WHO reports, global health indices, and case studies of past health crises, such as Ebola (2014–2016) and COVID-19 (2020–2024). Data were collected from WHO publications, African CDC reports, peer-reviewed journals, and government health statistics. Findings reveal that WHO plays a pivotal role in disease surveillance, emergency response coordination, and health policy implementation. However, systemic inequalities in funding and material distribution have limited Africa’s ability to respond effectively to health crises. Delays in WHO’s decision-making processes have further exacerbated the impact of pandemics on the continent. Despite these challenges, WHO remains a key institution for strengthening health security, provided that operational inefficiencies are addressed, resource distribution becomes more equitable, and decision-making processes are restructured. The study recommends decentralizing WHO’s regional offices in Africa, improving health equity in resource allocation, and reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies to enhance rapid emergency response. These findings contribute to ongoing policy discussions on global health governance and sustainable health security strategies for Africa.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Joseph onovughe Silokohttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/11784Hak Tersangka atas Peradilan yang Adil dan Tidak Memihak dalam Kerangka Due Process of Law2025-12-30T13:44:30+07:00Beben Muhammad Bachtiar[email protected]Sarip Hidayat[email protected]
The suspect's right to a fair and impartial trial within the framework of Due Process of Law in the criminal justice system in Indonesia. The method used here is the normative legal research method through a statutory approach. The results of the study indicate that the existence of Due Process of Law in the criminal justice system can create an integrated criminal justice system, which means that the role of Due Process of Law is very important. In addition, the criminal justice system in Indonesia has been proven to have sufficiently fulfilled human rights protection, this can be seen in the regulations contained in the Criminal Procedure Law, namely in the recognition of equality before the law, the application of the presumption of innocence principle, the fulfillment of various suspect rights, and the inclusion of several principles in criminal procedure law.
2025-12-30T13:42:40+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Beben Muhammad Bachtiar, Sarip Hidayathttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/8862Analisis Hukum terhadap Status Pernikahan Beda Agama dan Implikasinya terhadap Hak Waris di Indonesia2025-12-30T14:13:35+07:00Yani Andriyani[email protected]Amelya Julianti[email protected]Iman Jalaludin Rifa’i[email protected]
This study aims to analyze the law on interfaith marriage and its implications for inheritance rights in Indonesia. The research method used is a normative approach by examining and interpreting theoretical matters concerning legal principles. The results of this study indicate that interfaith marriage is strictly prohibited in Islam. This has been explained in the Compilation of Islamic Law, Article 40 letter c and Article 44 explicitly regulate the prohibition of marriage between Muslim men and non-Muslim women and Muslim women and non-Muslim men. Regarding the settlement of inheritance rights for children born from interfaith couples according to the perspective of Islamic Inheritance Law, children born from interfaith marriages do not have the right to inherit property if they are not of the same religion as the testator, in this case the testator is Muslim. However, if the testator is not Muslim (non-Muslim), while the heirs are not of the same religion as the testator, then they still have the right to inherit based on the blood relationship between the testator and the heirs which is explained in Article 832 of the Civil Code and Article 171 letter c of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). From this research, it can be concluded that interfaith marriages not only violate religious principles but also have significant legal implications regarding inheritance rights for children resulting from such marriages and there must be improvements to existing laws to provide legal certainty regarding the legal status of interfaith marriages and especially those related to inheritance.
2025-12-30T14:13:10+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yani Andriyanihttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/3338Harmonisasi Regulasi Nasional dalam Pengelolaan dan Pemanfaatan Tanah dalam Perpektif Teori Sistem Hukum2025-12-30T15:51:16+07:00Kayla Vania Gita Putri[email protected]Suwari Akhmaddhian[email protected]
This study aims to analyze the harmonization of national regulations on land management and utilization in Indonesia by examining the relationships between land regulations and the challenges of their implementation, both vertically and horizontally. Using a normative juridical method supported by a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the alignment between the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) as the legal umbrella for agrarian affairs and sectoral regulations governing forestry, mining, spatial planning, the environment, and investment. The results indicate that despite the comprehensive normative framework for land management, regulatory disharmony persists due to overlapping authority, differing interpretations of regulations, and institutional fragmentation. This situation results in uncertainty over land status, slowed development, and increased agrarian conflict. The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of regulatory harmonization through the integration of legal substance, institutional alignment, optimization of the national land database, and improvement of legal culture to ensure effective, equitable, and sustainable land governance.

2025-12-30T15:51:16+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Kayla Vania Gita Putrihttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/3357Analisis Kritis terhadap Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi atas Pengujian Materiil Undang-Undang tentang Kepolisian2026-01-06T09:05:51+07:00Yogeta Yogeta[email protected]Suwari Akhmaddhian[email protected]
The purpose of this study is to analyze the regulations for the appointment and dismissal of the Chief of the Republic of Indonesia Police based on Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Police and the Decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) Number 147/PUU-XXIII/2025 concerning the material review of Article 11 paragraph (2) of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Republic of Indonesia Police. The research method uses a normative juridical method supported by legal materials relevant to the research theme. The results of the study are that the petition was filed by two applicants, but only Applicant I was declared to have legal standing. The focus of the review relates to the unclear term of office of the Chief of the Republic of Indonesia Police, multiple interpretations of the explanation of the article, and the alleged inconsistency of norms with the principles of the rule of law. The MK's considerations rejected the petition, and analyzed it using Lawrence M. Friedman's Legal System Theory, which includes legal structure, legal substance, and legal culture. The conclusion of the study shows that the Constitutional Court considers the norms of the Police Law to be still constitutional, and the ambiguity argued by the Applicant has been answered through previous Constitutional Court decisions. The Constitutional Court's ruling confirms that, structurally and institutionally, the President's prerogative authority regarding the National Police Chief remains compatible with the principles of the rule of law. While there is still room for improvement in terms of substance and legal culture to strengthen legal certainty.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yogetahttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/11512Perlindungan Hukum Musisi atas Hak Cipta dalam Royalti Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Hak Cipta di Indonesia2026-01-06T09:23:12+07:00Willy Setiaza Permana[email protected]Dikha Anugrah[email protected]Bias Lintang Dialog[email protected]
The growth of the music industry in Indonesia has led to disputes over works within the industry. This study aims to examine the regulation of royalties on music copyrights and the legal protection for musicians regarding copyright in royalty payments based on Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach with a juridical-normative method, involving literature studies and field studies. Data collection techniques include primary and secondary data sources, with literature studies serving as the primary tool for gathering information related to the research topic. The findings indicate that musicians holding copyright to their songs are not yet fully protected under the law, particularly concerning economic and moral rights, despite the existence of Government Regulation Number 56 of 2021. Preventive legal protection efforts include copyright registration, Law Number 28 of 2014, and the role of Collective Management Organizations. Copyright registration serves as concrete legal evidence in disputes. Repressive legal protection through the Commercial Court is regulated under the Copyright Law as a means of safeguarding musicians' exclusive rights, ensuring economic rights, and upholding human rights.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 dikha anugrahhttps://journal.uniku.ac.id/index.php/logika/article/view/3349Penegakan Hukum Terhadap Kasus Kerusakan Ekosistem Air Akibat Pertambangan Batubara2026-02-05T14:37:07+07:00Azzahra Yasmina Lisanti[email protected]Suwari Akhmaddhian[email protected]
Sumber daya air mencakup air permukaan, air tanah, dan sumber air hujan. Therefore, they have significant potential for conversion into cover and other uses for economic development. Furthermore, APL also offers potential for biodiversity and other functions related to ecosystem balance. Efforts to ensure ecosystem balance in APL include the identification of High Conservation Values (HCVs). However, HCVs have been partially implemented in concession areas. Therefore, it is crucial to enforce HCVs at the landscape level or within specific juridictions. This study aims to identify and map areas with high/low probability of HCVs 1 to 4 in Siak Regency, Riau Province, and their threats. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method, with HCV screening guidelines referring to High Conservation Value (HCV) Screening: Guidance for identifying and prioritizing action for HCVs as part of the jurisdictional and landscape approach initiated by HCV-RN. The study results indicate that HCV 1 – HCV 4 areas in Siak Regency, Riau Province, were identified in other use areas (APL) with area status as non-forestry cultivation areas, encompassing both high and low probabilities. Meanwhile, the threat ranking of HCV 1-HCV 4 consists of high – very high threats, with the form of threats in the form of land conversion for the expansion of BPPH HT in forest areas (HP, HPT, HPK) and the expansion of oil palm plantations in APL, forest and land fires, illegal logging, issuance of Tora permits, animal conflicts due to the reduction in area and quality of habitat, the entry of invasive species, canalization, and pollution of river, lake and swamp ecosystems.

Keywords: Non-forest estate, High Conservation Value, Screening
2025-12-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 M Sayidina Ali, Iing Nasihin, Dede Kosasih
