AUTHOR GUIDELINES

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Manuscript is a scientific paper in the form of narratives such as a scientific article, research results or a conceptual idea related with Legal Studies written in English and/or Indonesian, and is an original work (no plagiarism), and has never been published in other media proven by Originality Statement;

WRITING RULES

The manuscript is written maximum 15 pages (4000-7000 words) using Time New Roman font size 12 with 1.2 spacing on A4 size. 

Systematics of script writing research results include:

  • Title

The title uses an effective sentence with a maximum 15 words and given a description of the contract number and source of research funding.

  • Author’s Name

The author's name listed without title (authors preferably from 2 (two) countries)

  • Affiliation
  • E-mail, listed e-mail should be active because of the correspondence by e-mail.
  • Abstract and Keywords

Abstract explicitly includes problems, research methods and a brief summary of result. The abstract is single-spaced typed in English and Bahasa maximum 250 words, at least 3 words and maximum 5 words and arranged according to the alphabet.

  • Introduction
The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/s should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue and the objective of research. Introduction must at least include 3 (three) recent scientific articles from scientific journals related to research studies as comparative studies.
  • Research Methods
The method written in descriptive. Socio-Legal, Qualitative or Quantitative or mix methods. This Method are optional, only for original research articles
  • Result and Discussion
This section is the most important part of your article. Contains the results of the object of study and must be clear and concise and preferably use legal theory (for example: Legal System Theory, or something else) as an analytical knife in dissecting the discussion
  • Conclusion
Conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of research. Do not repeat the Abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings
  • Suggestion
Suggestions to be given related to the research.
  • References
Bibliography of a minimum of 15 pcs consisting of 80% of articles from Scientific Journals. The book and journals was published in the last 10 (ten) years (2014-2024).
Bibliography Unifikasi : Jurnal Ilmu Hukum using Turabian Style.

FOOTNOTE AND REFERENCES

Each citation must be included references by using footnotes. The footnote does not contain any explanation or description and contains footnote protected by Copyright as stipulated in Law No. 28 The year 2014 concerning Copyright. Syntax references in the footnotes:

SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
