Focus and Scope

English Review: Journal of English Education (ERJEE) with e-ISSN: 2301-7554; p-ISSN: 2541-3643, is scholarly journal that is open access and devoted to improving our understanding of English language, linguistic, applied linguistic, and English literature. The journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary research that yields useful outcomes and advances knowledge of language and literature in contemporary society.

ERJEE disseminates research results regarding EFL-related issues in all countries that cover the fields of:

  • English language pedagogy
  • English language literacy
  • English for specific purposes
  • English language testing and assessment
  • Teaching English to young learners 
  • English Literature
  • Language policy and planning
  • Second language acquisition
  • ELT materials development and evaluation
  • Critical discourse analysis
  • Language and media studies

 

ERJEE is nationally accredited (SINTA 2) by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology with the Decree Number 200/M/KPT/2020 which is valid for five years since Volume 8 Issue 2 (2020),  to Volume 13 Issue 1 (2025)

Since 2022, ERJEE has published three issues in one year: February, June and October.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
