Focus and Scope
English Review: Journal of English Education (ERJEE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in English language education, linguistics, applied linguistics, and English literature. The journal provides a platform for interdisciplinary research that explores the dynamic role of language and literature in shaping contemporary global society.

English Review: Journal of English Education (ERJEE) is a fully open access journal. All articles published in ERJEE are freely accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription or registration barriers.
1. Open Access Statement
ERJEE believes that open access to scholarly work encourages wider dissemination of research, fosters academic collaboration, and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of English language education, linguistics, and literature. As such, the journal allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided proper citation is given.

Journal History
English Review: Journal of English Education (ERJEE) was established in 2012 as a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original research and critical studies in the fields of English language education, applied linguistics, literature, and English language pedagogy. It is published by the Department of English Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, [Insert University Name].
Since its inception, ERJEE has aimed to serve as a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners around the world—especially in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) contexts—to disseminate high-quality, impactful work that advances theory and practice in English studies.
Milestones
- 2012: ERJEE was first launched in print format.
- 2015: ERJEE adopted an open access model and launched its electronic edition (e-ISSN: 2301-7554), ensuring free access to all published content.
- 2017: Indexed in national academic databases and began integration with international indexing platforms.
- 2020: Implemented full double-blind peer review, strengthened international editorial board, and improved journal layout and metadata standards.
- 2022: Adopted APA 7th Edition for referencing and transitioned to a fully digital submission and review platform using Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- 2024–2025: Expanded international reach with increasing submissions from authors in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa; targeted inclusion in reputable global indexing services.
