Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

1. The author needs to first commit to submitting only to IJETE.

 

2. The decision of acceptance and rejection will be based on the assessment of two reviewers. The authors will receive information about the decision no more than 3 months after submission.

 

3. A paper that is requested to be revised must be revised immediately by the author and please to sent back soon.

 

4. Each writer is fully responsible for the contents of the writing. Problems such as plagiarism will be solved by using Plagiarism Checker Programs.

 

5. The author free of charged if his writing is published in Indonesian Journal of Elementary Teachers Education.

 

6. Please write using a Bahasa that relevant to EYD with a minimum of 5000 words on A4 size paper. The letters use TNR 12 one space with margins (left, top, right, bottom) 2.5 and without page numbers.

 

6.1. Titles are written in Bahasa and English Version, TNR 12 capital letters with 1 space and center position, Bold and a maximum of 12 words.

 

6.2. If the author more than one, write the first author, second author, etc. The below of it contains affiliation and emails that can be contacted.

 

6.3. Indonesian abstracts and the English Version are written in one paragraph and consist of 150-250 words, using Times New Roman 12, one space. Abstract consists of an introduction which contains a goal; method; results and discussion; conclusions and implications.

 

6.4. Introduction

Contains background; explain current issues that lead to the importance of research conducted. References (relevant literature or research) should also be included in this section, in relation to the justification of the urgency of research, the appearance of research problems, alternative solutions, and selected solutions. Problems, research objectives, and references written in narrative paragraphs do not need to be given special subtitles. (TNR 12, space 1).

 

6.5. Methods

Contains the type of research, time and place of research, object, and subject of research, procedures, instruments, and techniques of data analysis, as well as other matters relating to the method of research. Methods and statistical analysis must be explained in detail in this section so that it is possible for other researchers to develop similar research. Subtitles do not need to be given a notation, but are written in lowercase letters beginning with capital letters, Bold TNR, and align left position.

 

6.6. Finding and Discussion

Contains the results of empirical research or literature studies written in a systematic, critical, and informative analysis. Discussion of the results is argumentative concerning the relevance between results, theories, previous research and empirical facts found, and shows the novelty of the findings.

This section is the main part of the research article and is usually the longest part of an article. The process of analyzing data such as statistical calculations does not need to be presented. Only analysis results need to be reported. Tables and graphs can be used to clarify the presentation of verbal research results. Tables and graphs must be commented or discussed. The use of tables, images, etc. is only a supporter that clarifies the discussion and is limited only to truly substantial supporters, for example, tables of statistical testing results, drawings from model testing etc.

Each table is written without a vertical line and is completed with years of research data processing. Pictures or graphics are at least clear and readable. Tables, drawings and graphics are placed at the top or bottom with the title placed above for the table and placed below for images and graphs with centered writing. Avoid explanation of tables and images by using the words "Table above, the image below, the following table, etc." but mention the table clearly using names such as Table 1, Figure 2, etc. Writing words in Table 1, Figure 2 must be in bold.

 

6.7. Conclusions and Suggestions

Conclusions present a summary of the description of the results and discussion, referring to the research objectives. Based on these two things, new ideas are developed which are the essence of the research findings. Suggestions are arranged based on the research findings discussed. Suggestions can refer to practical actions, the development of new theories, and/or further research.

 

6.8. Acknowledgment

This section may be filled in, may also not be displayed. If you need to thank certain parties, for example, research sponsors, state clearly and concisely, avoid flowery statements of gratitude.

 

6.9. Bibliography

The format of titles, tables, images, quotations, references, and other details follows the APA style as described in the American Psychological Association Publication Manual. Use of the Mendeley application is recommended for writing in this journal. Reference from primary sources (scientific journals/books/other scientific sources) and current/latest (maximum 10 years). Reference only lists the sources referenced in the article.

Submission Preparation Checklist

5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
