Abstract


The difference between the ability of students Male and Female Seventh Grade Students of Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding unsure intrinsic elements contained in a short story titled Sweet Punishment Make Wendi Widya Arya Ratna Dewi works. This study about the difference between the ability of students Male and Female Seventh Grade Students of Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding unsure intrinsic elements contained in a short story titled Sweet Punishment Make Wendi Widya Arya Ratna Dewi works. The objectives of this research are as follows. 1) Want to know the ability of Students Male Class VII Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding Intrinsic Elements contained in a short story titled Sweet Punishment Make Work Wendi Widya Arya Ratna Dewi. 2). Women want to know the ability of class VII students of Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding Intrinsic Elements contained in a short story titled Sweet Punishment Make Work Wendi Widya Arya Ratna Dewi. 3). Want to know the difference between the ability of students Male and Female Seventh Grade Students of Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding unsure intrinsic elements contained in a short story titled Sweet Punishment Make Work Wendi Widya Arya Ratna Dewi.Metode research is descriptive comparative method, the method of research that can be used to describe comparisons (differences and similarities) of two variables, so it can be determined through the assessment process differences between them. Data acquisition techniques used in this study are: Observation, library research and testing. Data processing techniques are used to distinguish the two variables used t test. The population in this study was a class VII with a number of 165 students. In this study, the authors take a sample class VII students by 40 male students and female students 40 students. Based on the analysis can be summarized as follows. 1) The ability of the male students of class VII Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding the intrinsic elements titled Sweet Punishment Make Wendi works Widya Arya Ratna Dewi, please. With an average value of 62.25. Thus hypothesis 1 is accepted. 2) The difference in the ability of women students of class VII Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding the intrinsic elements titled Sweet Punishment Make Arya Ratna Dewi Widya Wendi's work, either. With an average value of 72. Thus hypothesis 2 is accepted. 3) The average difference between the ability of male students and female students of class VII Junior High Schools 1 Kramatmulya in understanding the intrinsic elements titled Sweet Punishment Make Wendi works Widya Arya Ratna Dewi obtained by calculating the t test t count obtained greater than t table ( 3.52> 1.6646), the 5% significance. Thus, the authors formulated the hypothesis 3 is accepted.
