English Review: Journal of English Education (ERJEE) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure that scholarly articles remain permanently available, ERJEE implements the following archiving policy:

1. Digital Archiving

All published articles in ERJEE are archived and preserved in the following ways:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): ERJEE participates in the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network, which provides free preservation services for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
  • Internet Archive and LOCKSS: The journal content may also be archived by initiatives such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), allowing participating libraries to preserve journal content and ensure its continued availability.
  • Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit published versions of their articles in institutional or subject-specific repositories, with appropriate citation and licensing.

2. Self-Archiving by Authors

Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive:

  • Pre-print versions (submitted manuscript before peer review)
  • Post-print versions (accepted manuscript after peer review)
  • Published versions (final published PDF)

These may be deposited in personal websites, institutional repositories, or other scholarly archives without embargo, provided proper citation to the journal issue and article is maintained.

3. Metadata Preservation

ERJEE ensures that full bibliographic metadata (title, author, abstract, keywords, DOI, etc.) of each article is indexed in major academic databases and preserved alongside the full text for discoverability and citation purposes.

4. Article Access Guarantee

In the unlikely event that the journal ceases publication, all published content will remain accessible through its archived repositories and institutional partners.
